How to look after the pieces of our outfits, Datex and corsets collections so they last.
Leather pieces
- Leather is a natural material: small differences in colour, gloss and grain are normal.
- Clean light marks with a soft cloth slightly damp with unscented soap, without rubbing hard in one place. For heavy stains, use a leather cleaner.
- Let damp leather dry at room temperature before putting it away, never in a plastic bag.
- Feed it from time to time with a leather balm. Avoid heat, long sun exposure, soaking and solvents.
Datex
- Hand wash at 40 °C maximum. No chlorine, no dry cleaning, no ironing.
- For shine, use a silicone-based product such as pjur CULT Ultra Shine, never oil.
- Store dry, in an airy and dark place, away from other colours: latex can stain lighter fabrics.
- Datex contains natural rubber latex: do not wear it if you are allergic to latex.
Latex on tulle
- Never put your fingers through the tulle and watch long nails and rings: a strong pull can tear it.
- Put it on gently, as you would stockings.
- Wash after each wear in lukewarm soapy water, dry, then dust with talc or silicone so the latex does not stick to itself.
- Store in the dark and separately. Contains natural rubber latex: do not wear if allergic.
Satin corsets
- Loosen the lacing before putting it on, close the front, then tighten the back little by little.
- Spot clean or hand wash cold, dry flat. No tumble dryer, no bleach.
- Store flat or hanging, laces loosened.
