Natural latex is satin-matte when it leaves the workshop. Its mirror shine comes from a product applied to the surface. You can receive your piece matte and shine it yourself, or receive it already polished.
Standard finish: matte (included)
Your piece arrives clean and matte. This is the best state to store and ship latex: nothing on the surface can stain or age it. Before wearing it, apply a shine product such as pjur CULT Ultra Shine, as explained in our care guide.
Polished, ready to wear (+€15)
We polish the outside of your piece just before shipping: it is glossy as soon as you open the parcel. Choose “Polished, ready to wear” in the “Finish” line of the product page.
The shine is not permanent: it fades after a few days of storage and with wear. Polish again before each outing, it only takes a few minutes.
Inside: talc or dressing aid
To slip into a catsuit easily, use a dressing aid such as pjur CULT Dressing Aid, or unscented talc. We do not pre-lubricate the inside: a dressing aid should not stay on latex for weeks. See our guide how to put on a latex catsuit.
Which finish should you choose?
- Your first latex piece: polished, ready to wear, to see straight away the look it can have, then keep it shining yourself.
- Already used to latex: the matte finish is enough, you polish it to your taste.
- A gift: polished, ready to wear, ideally with the gift box.
