How to put it on

  1. Before you start (all models): remove jewellery and your watch. Lubricate your skin and the inside of the garment with a silicone lubricant (beGLOSS Easy Glide, pjur), never an oil-based one. Mind your fingernails: ease the latex up with small presses, without pulling.
  2. Neck entry (Brave): widen the neck opening with your hands flat, step in one leg at a time, ease the latex up to your waist, then slip your arms in. Get someone to help you take it off if needed.
  3. Zip entry (IronStorm, MoonShadow and other zipped models): open the zip fully, put your legs in, ease the latex up to your shoulders, slip your arms in, then close the zip gently while holding the latex flat under the zip.
  4. Taking it off: relubricate if needed and roll the latex down instead of pulling.

Latex Clothing Care : how to make it shine and last longer ?

Latex Clothing is made of rubber, a natural material, and as such it is delicate and it naturally degrades over time.

But with the proper Latex Clothing care, your garment will shine and last longer than ever.

Latex clothing will often be delivered with a thin coating of talcum powder in order to reduce the friction of the material.

For this reason a latex garment must be washed before each use. After worn, Latex Clothes must be washed again and covered with talcum powder for storage, until the next time you have to do it over again from the beginning.

Latex Clothing Care: step by step

  1. Put on with a silicone lubricant (e.g. beGLOSS Easy Glide, pjur), applied to the garment and to the skin. Never use an oil-based lubricant.
  2. Avoid:
    • fingernails and jewellery;
    • oils (massage oils, essential oils, oil-based deodorants);
    • copper, brass, bronze and nickel;
    • rough or sharp objects.
  3. Wash by hand in lukewarm water, with a little oil-free washing-up liquid or beGLOSS Special Wash. Rinse, do not wring.
  4. Dry hanging on a non-metal hanger, in the shade, away from any heat source. Pat dry with a soft cloth.
  5. Store: once dry, apply talcum powder for storage; do not store latex shined with silicone. Store hanging, not balled up, away from light, heat and humidity, and keep colours apart (latex stains by contact).
  6. Shine before wearing, with beGLOSS Perfect Shine. The garment is delivered matt.
  7. Never: bleach, tumble dryer, ironing, dry cleaning, washing machine.
  8. Safety:
    • natural latex: do not wear if you are allergic to latex;
    • flammable: keep away from flames;
    • a built-in sheath is not a condom and protects neither against STIs nor pregnancy;
    • silicone makes the floor slippery.

Latex Clothing Care : Do’s and Dont’s

  • Avoid sharp or rough objects, fingernails and jewellery: latex can rip very easily if punctured. Also always inspect your garment before and after use.
  • Avoid contact with copper, brass, bronze and nickel (such as coins and some jewellery).
  • Avoid all oils (oil-based lubricants, massage oils, essential oils, oil-based deodorants): they degrade the material. Use only a silicone lubricant, and do not store your latex shined with silicone: apply talcum powder once dry.
  • Avoid sunbeams : natural light will degrade the longterm integrity of your latex.
